Women in the Legal Profession: Understanding & Eliminating Gender Bias
Implicit or unconscious gender bias is unavoidable, but there are steps we can take to mitigate its influence in the workplace. The panel discussed the importance of understanding gender bias and stereotypes with an emphasis on the application of the ABA’s Model Rule 8.4(g). With real-world examples, the panel offered some practical advice to break through gender bias and improve gender equality in the legal profession.
