Keating Muething & Klekamp Expands Labor & Employment Group with Addition of Partners Alison M. Huenefeld and Christopher M. Jones

The Cincinnati law firm of Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL (KMK Law®) is pleased to welcome new partners Alison M. Huenefeld and Christopher M. Jones to the firm’s Labor & Employment Group.

Alison M. Huenefeld assists clients in all stages of workplace disputes. She has extensive experience counseling clients regarding hiring and firing issues, disciplinary matters, and compliance questions related to Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other state and federal laws governing the employment relationship. Huenefeld also assists employers with drafting policies and procedures, including employee handbooks, and provides labor and employment-related diligence in M&A transactions. She regularly defends employers against charges filed with the EEOC as well as other governmental agencies and represents employers in litigation matters in both state and federal courts. In addition to labor and employment matters, Huenefeld has experience assisting franchisors with drafting and registering franchise disclosure documents and ensuring compliance with the regulations governing the offer and sale of franchises. She also has experience litigating transportation claims. Huenefeld earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in 2013 and her B.A. from the University of Kentucky in 2010. Huenefeld is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky.

Christopher M. Jones focuses his practice on litigating and advising clients regarding issues within the workplace. He counsels clients regarding hiring and firing issues, disciplinary issues, employment agreements, whistleblower complaints, and employment policies and procedures, including employment handbooks. Jones regularly defends employers against charges filed with the EEOC as well as state and local fair employment agencies. Jones also represents employers in litigation matters in both state and federal courts, including claims arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and other state and federal employment statutes and regulations. Jones has represented employers in arbitrations involving collective bargaining agreement disputes and grievances as well as administrative proceedings before MSHA and OSHA. In addition to labor and employment matters, Jones has experience representing clients in litigation matters involving transportation claims, multi-employer worksites, and deliberate intent matters. Jones earned his J.D. from West Virginia College of Law in 2011 and his B.A. from West Virginia University in 2008. Jones is licensed to practice law in Ohio and West Virginia.
