What was your first job?
My first job was as a babysitter and I was hired the summer I turned 11 years old! I ended up babysitting for the same family until I left for college (and when I was home on breaks). I went on vacation with two families every summer and loved it; they became my second family.

What is your favorite vacation spot? Why?
My favorite vacation spot is Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I started going to HHI when I was 12. Though we didn’t know each other at the time, my husband started going to HHI as a teenager too. We both fell in love with the island so have continued the tradition with our own family. Every summer, we visit HHI with my husband’s family and I have loved getting to see my kids enjoy HHI with their cousins. We have dreams of owning a house there someday!

What is the simplest thing you never learned to do?
Cook. Almost anything. Aside from macaroni and cheese or things that go in the microwave, I do not cook anything. Takeout exists for people like me.
