Biography
Alex Beck practices in the firm’s Business Representations & Transactions Group, where he assists private and publicly held companies with a wide variety of corporate transactions. Alex advises clients on a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance matters, contract matters, and general corporate matters. Alex has experience advising clients on various franchise matters, including preparing, filing, and registering franchise disclosure documents with state authorities. Alex also has experience advising clients on aircraft purchase and sale transactions, aircraft leases, and airport infrastructure financings.
Alex earned his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2017, cum laude, where he served as Articles Editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review. During law school, Alex held internships with the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office, The Kroger Company, and a judicial externship with Ohio Supreme Court Justice Pat DeWine.

What was your first job?
My first job was bagging groceries at a local supermarket after school and on weekends. I believe holding a job early in life is important, as it builds character at an early age. You do not realize it at the time, but those early life experiences are your building blocks for future success.
Where/how did you meet your significant other?
My wife and I sat next to each other in Civil Procedure on our first day of law school. We began dating in law school, and have supported each other in our legal careers from day one.
Where would we find you on a typical Saturday/Sunday?
My weekends mostly include catching up on yard work and chores around the house. If I am not working or doing yard work, you can find me on golf course or training for my next marathon.
What do you think is Cincinnati’s best-kept secret?
The food! I love trying new food, and Cincinnati has so many good food spots to choose from, it never gets old. While I have my favorite spots around the City, I always try to try a new restaurant or lunch spot to broaden my menu.
