Biography

Karin Goitman is an associate in the firm's Mass Tort Settlement Trusts & Insurance Group, where she assists with trust administration, claims processing matters, and insurance coverage. She also handles claim disputes and represents clients in private arbitration and mediation matters. 

Karin has previous litigation experience as well as experience working for a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the South District of Ohio. She also has legal experience working with civil rights organizations in Washington, D.C., including the Anti-Defamation League and the Human Rights Campaign. Karin earned her J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law, where she was a legal writing teaching assistant and a Note & Comment Editor with the International Law Review. Prior to her legal career, Karin worked in Ukraine with a humanitarian relief organization, and she worked with a Member of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives.
