Biography
Bozana Lundberg practices in the firm's Real Estate and Environmental Groups where she is focused in the area of environmental, health, and safety law. She advises public and private companies regarding environmental aspects of the purchase and sale of business assets and real estate including due diligence, permit transfer, and contract negotiation. Bozana also has experience counseling clients regarding litigation, enforcement and compliance involving CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Water Act, NEPA, and the Endangered Species Act and similar state laws. Her litigation experience includes large Superfund cost recovery and environmental toxic tort cases. Bozana has experience counseling clients during litigation, PRP cost allocation and site remediation stages. In addition, she has experience in advising clients in the cell tower industry including managing large portfolio acquisitions.
Bozana also has experience representing corporate clients before administrative courts including the Ohio Environmental Review Appeals Commission ("ERAC") and the Ohio Oil and Gas Commission. In addition, she has worked on brownfield redevelopment projects involving government, private, and non-profit stakeholders including under the Ohio Voluntary Action Program (“VAP”). Bozana's past experience also includes white collar crime, business litigation and MDL litigation involving medical device defects.
Prior to joining KMK Law, Bozana served as managing associate for a mid-sized law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she advised public and private companies regarding environmental aspects of transactions, CERCLA cost recovery, enforcement, and regulatory compliance.
Bozana earned her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude. She was a Managing Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review and earned the Managing Editor of the Year award. She served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Karen Nelson Moore of the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to law school, Bozana interned at Save America’s Forests in Washington, DC and at the Cincinnati Nature Center. Bozana earned a B.A. with a double major in Biology & Environmental Studies from Case Western Reserve University.
