• Lease and contract negotiation and drafting for site control
• Research, title insurance, and environmental due diligence to assess suitability of sites for large scale solar production facilities
• Assistance with solar financing alternatives and incentives including USDA Powering Affordable Clean Energy (PACE) loan program, New ERA, and other programs sponsored by the U.S. Departments of Agriculture and Energy
• Navigation of land use issues, including permitting, county solar zoning as applied to unincorporated areas in rural communities, and the interplay with agricultural preservation and regulation
• Support for Power Siting Board applications to the public utilities commissions for large solar projects (determined by megawatts)
• Advocacy with elected officials and private service providers to plan and implement solar projects within existing power infrastructure, including, interconnection agreements, transmission easements, and substation arrangements with regional utility companies
• Transactional services related to closing on land, including title insurance through our wholly-owned subsidiary Riverbend Commercial Title Services LP
