What Clients Say

KMK has been a fantastic partner. They put their clients needs first and are incredibly responsive and thorough in all that they do. We appreciate their council and look forward to working more with them in the future. -- Andy Seitz, Chief Financial Officer, The Drees Company

Carey Steffen is a wonderful attorney who has represented our firm in the collections industry for years. We highly value her attention to detail, unique legal strategies, and ability to perform under pressure. We have turned many distressed and otherwise deemed uncollectible assets into cold hard cash, encountering and resolving many hiccups from previous lenders mistakes, and salvaging cases that we would have lost without her help. We are pretty picky and have a lot of industry experience when it comes to collections, however, when I have an exceptionally difficult or complex case in Ohio that needs analyzed by a professional, we don’t hesitate to send the file to Carey. Specifically, we had a case where Carey and Kevin Swick jumped in after another attorney had essentially buried our chances at recovery by performing in court so poorly. They quickly assessed the situation, determined all possible routes and helped us avoid having to pay fees to the other side AND most importantly, did not take us down the rabbit hole of fees, gave us transparency and honesty about the situation, and we felt they delivered excellent counseling. We really appreciate their work over all these years and are thrilled to see their career’s progress. -- Patrick Cadle, Vice President, Smoot Investments Inc.
